Newspapers
You can pick up most international publications at newsagents, particularly those at the main rail termini in London.
British newspapers fall into two camps - tabloid and broadsheet. Tabloids like the Sun, Mirror and Star, run short, glossy story campaigns and are high on scandal and the entertainment industry.
Broadsheets like the Telegraph, Times, Independent and Guardian are more highbrow and weighty tomes. All of them now offer excellent web versions of their publications, so you can try before you visit.
