Home London Nightlife London Clubs - Fun

Guanabara

The club is keen to point out there is more to Brazil than a carnival and football. Guanabara - Brazilian food and dancing on the border between the West End and the City.It showcases the music, dance, food and a friendly vibe. Can get very packed at the weekend, so consider trying earlier in the week when it's cheaper and some afficionados would say - the music is better. Really worth looking into if you're after a party atmosphere and the prospect of standard club choons doesn't entice. Just over the road from Holborn Tube and up Parker Street, on the corner with Drury Lane. (The postcode on their website appears to be wrong).

Notting Hill Arts Club

A kind of art-bar-club. Cool, underground music, popular and unpretentious - an excellent antidote to the Notting Hill Arts Club: a different kind of evening out.high-roller clubs around Mayfair. DJs or live bands, reasonable price on drinks and the odd snack or two, you won't find many with a bad word to say about the Arts Club. Turn up earlier to take advantage of happy hour deals on drinks and enjoy some elbow-room before it starts to fill. Trendy without being elitist - well pitched!

Oxygen

Just off the most beaten track in town (Leicester Square), this club offers cocktails and dancing in the centre of of the city. Oxygen - uncomplicated and offering (expensive) oxygen on tap. It's not the most sophisticated club or especially capacious, but if you're in town for drinks and a dance, and don't fancy the theatre of trying to get into the trendy clubs, then head over here. It's the only licensed vendor of pure oxygen in London, so if you can spare the cash, then have a hit (not sure why though).

10am till 6pm weekdays or 6pm onwards weekdays and weekends.

Strawberry Moons

A lounge, club and a VIP bar, just off Regent Street in the heart of the West End, it caters for those wanting a late drink, Strawberry Moons - more of a transition between a bar and a club, it's popular with women.some dancing and fun, rather than ice-cool people watching and a place to display your peacock feathers. The dance tunes are deliberately cheesy as its aimed at those who like to flood the dance-floor with their mates. As a result it's especially popular with women. All day tapas, a drinks menu that's reasonably priced, considering the location and it's easy to see why it's so popular.
