The Comedy Cafe is one of the few purpose built comedy clubs in London, situated in trend-alert Shoreditch. 
Visitors are given a table for the evening where the eat, drink and watch the show. Perhaps not the line up of the Comedy Store, which has the cachet to draw the top names in stand up, it's nevertheless a popular venue with performers and public alike. Food is similar to the comedy store - burgers, felafel, etc. - perhaps it make you laugh, I don't know. Check ahead to make sure you're not turning up for a music night when you're expecting comedy.
Shows are Wednesday to Saturday, with music on Friday and Saturday until 1am.
