Jazz venue for over 30 years, which used to be at 606 King's Road, but moved to its present location in the eighties. In the hinterlands of Chelsea near a gasworks, this cosy club offers good food, reasonably priced drinks and top notch jazz. Pre-booking to secure a table is advisable, particularly at the weekend. Service can be patchy during busy periods, so if you're in a desperate hurry to get in and out, it's probably not for you. A music charge (£8-12) is added to the food bill - note: licensing restrictions mean that in order to drink alcohol in the club, you have to eat.
