Move It - London Dance Event
Akai Osei performs Disney Channel "Shake It Up" moves for biggest dance event in UK
MOVE IT is dancing its way back into London Olympia, this week (11 – 13 March).
The UK’s biggest dance event - Move It - attracts over 20,000 fans from all corners of the globe for three days of body popping, back flippin’ and freestyle rocking. The event will feature live performances, dance masterclasses, top exhibitors and live auditions to impress dance-troupe: Flawless.
Got to Dance 2010 winner Akai will be on hand to perform exclusive new dance moves for the event. These moves will be inspired by Disney Channel’s new dance-filled comedy series Shake It Up.
The Disney series is about best friends CeCe Jones (Bella Thorne) and Raquel "Rocky" Blue (Zendaya) whose dreams of becoming professional dancers are realised when they become background dancers on the most popular teen dance show, Shake it Up, Chicago. Between learning a wide range of new dance styles, navigating the backstage antics at the show and their new-found social status at school, the girls are on their way to new and fun adventures, some that will test their friendship. Akai will be demonstrating the Shake It Up routine and encouraging the audience to copy the moves.
