Impact Art Fair - Islington
The Impact Art Fair is the first UK art fair to be supplied exclusively by marginalised artists - talented
practitioners with circumstances that reduce their access to the mainstream art world. This year's event features approximately eighty artists coming from locations as diverse as Brighton, Glasgow and Berlin. Generously supported by Creative Future, The Other Side Gallery, The Arts Council, The Big Issue, Bethlem Gallery, Candid Arts Trust and South London & Maudsley NHS.
Preview Thursday 19 May 2011: 5-7pm
Highlights include:
Tim Andrews, whose ‘Over the Hill’ project has attracted a lot of media attention recently, will be unveiling a new piece of work previously unseen by the general public. Other works for sale include signed prints by Patrick Joyce (the Incurable Optimist) and photography by Alison Lapper.
