Cabbages and Frocks Market, which operates every Saturday from its base on Marylebone High Street, is extending its reach with two special events this summer. The first will be held at the Earl's Court Festival in mid-July and the second at the Paddington Summer Event, a fortnight later. Details are below.

 

Cabbages & Frocks - Market at the Earl's Court Festival Street Fair

Cabbages & Frocks is putting on a market at the annual Earl's Court Festival. There will be Earl's Court Festival features many children's events including the "Chalk Walk' streets lined with a mix of stalls selling tasty foods such as a traditional hog roast, ice-cream, pancakes and chocolates. Eye-catching gifts, fashion, children's items, and accessories stalls.

Creative arts/crafts for all, the artisan alley with paintings and 'chalk walk' art along the street – all in one kaleidoscopic day! One of the streets will be dedicated to children with a mix of face painting, magic shows, bouncy castles (I'm there!), craft workshops and regular Cabbages & Frocks stalls.

The streets will be bursting with entertainment, with a staged area for live music, theatrical performances, big bands, jazz and dancing.

Cabbages & Frocks -Market at the Paddington Summer Event

Cabbages & Frocks Market at the Paddington Summer Event will include Olympic athletes, celebrities, football coaches from Queens Park Rangers FC, roving entertainment and live music. The Paddington Festival's 2011 theme is sports, games, well-being and healthy living, incorporating a full day of fun & Punch & Judy show at the Paddington Summer Event where Cabbages and Frocks Market will be in attendancehealthy activities. Attendees will be given a 'passport' which will encourage them to participate in a variety of activities/sports. On completion of each sport they will have their passport stamped, and when they have gained 10 stamps, will be invited to climb the winners podium. They will receive a medal, goodie bag or discount from the Cabbages and Frocks stallholders and a photograph with one of the champions attending. All age ranges will be encouraged to take part.

Cabbages & Frocks stalls offering yummy foods such as a traditional hog roast, ice-cream, pancakes and chocolates will be there. In addition you can pick up eye-catching gifts, fashion, children's items, and accessories.
