Served in the spectacular Palm Court, a choice of several varieties of tea, finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream and a range of delicate pastries, combine for an sophisticated afternoon.
As befitting the elegant surroundings, The Ritz Hotel observes a formal dress code in the public areas of the hotel. Smart casual, clothing; with a jacket for gentleman is advised.
Booking in advance is strongly recommended, particularly at weekends. Tables may need to be reserved at least 12 weeks in advance.
Standard Afternoon Tea is £37 per guest, with additional more decadent and costly options available. Popular and well executed, but with an inevitable tourist slant.
