The Old Bank of England - Temple

(3 votes, average 4.00 out of 5)
The building was erected in 1888, as a legal branch of the Bank of England, but has only been a pub since 1995. The Old Bank of England: isn't particularly old (or genuinely the previous BOE), but is has exceptional Italianate style interiors. It was fully restored with Italianate interiors, a mezzanine and central floating bar, which are tastefully grand and impressive in scale. The small function rooms below the balcony can be hired. It's very busy at lunctime and early evenings since it's servicing a large working population, but afternoons offer a choice of seating.

194, Fleet St, London, EC4A 2LT.

Temple or Chancery Lane Tube.
